Drug delivery technologies are also facilitating the advancement of many new drugs which face challenges with their current formulations.

BioDelivery Sciences' strategy is to utilize patented and proprietary drug delivery technologies to create products and formulations that meet important patient and healthcare provider needs. Presently, these opportunities will be primarily centered on the BEMA™ and Bioral® technologies.
